Establishes designated areas where dogs and cats are permitted, restricted or prohibited under the Domestic Animals Act. The policy identifies locations for on-leash, off-leash and prohibited access, balancing responsible pet ownership with public safety, environmental protection and enjoyment of public spaces. It provides a consistent approach to managing animals in Council reserves and open spaces.
