Accessible Parking Permit Scheme

An accessibility parking permit lets you park in accessible parking bays or for double the usual time in regular bays.

The Victorian accessibility parking permit aligns with the Australian Disability Parking Permit Scheme, which includes: 

• Temporary permits for 6, 12 or 24 months;

• Permit lengths from 3 years to 5 years for individuals; and

• A permanent disability classification, so reassessments are not required for some people’s future permit renewals.
