The Glasshouse
Located at Kerang's Sir John Gorton Library, The Glasshouse's audio-visual capabilities and flexible spaces can accommodate community meetings, workshops and seminars.
The key feature of the building is its three meeting spaces:
- A 91-square-metre meeting room that features two large-screen televisions and integrated technology that can support the recording of events and the capacity for presenters or attendees to remotely attend or present.
- A smaller 39-square-meeting meeting space, located next to the building's large windows that face the Murray Valley Highway and Atkinson Park. Removeable walls that separate these spaces can be removed, creating a 130-square-metre area.
- An area between the two meeting spaces and the building's entry to the Sir John Gorton Library that can accommodate intimate gatherings, art exhibitions, author talks and other events.
- Two soundproof pods that can be used for private digital connectivity appointments and podcast creation.
The building also features a fully functioning kitchen.
