August and September 2026 flooding - Avoca and Loddon rivers
Council continues to respond following minor flooding along the Avoca and Loddon rivers during August and September 2026.

Road closures
The following Council-managed roads are currently closed:
- Connelly Road, Dingwall between Dip and Hawthorne roads.
- Forest Lane, Appin between Murphy's Lake and Sutherland roads.
- Knight Road, Quambatook between Ninyeunook and Cemetery roads.
- Marshall Road, Dingwall between Connelly and Normanville roads.
- Weir Road, Quambatook either side of the Avoca River.
(NOTE: Details correct as of 12 noon Friday, 11 September 2026).
Motorists are advised not to drive through floodwaters.
