Sixteen local projects will share in more than $50,000 of funding thanks to the Gannawarra Shire Council 2025 Community Grants Program.
Council received 34 applications, totalling $140,925, for its annual Community Grants program during a four-week application period held throughout May.
“Thank you to the numerous community groups that applied for funding via our popular Community Grants program,” Mayor Garner Smith said.
“For many years this popular program has enabled local community groups to host events the Gannawarra is renowned for and support many great local projects.”
“Council thanks all groups that submitted a request for funding and looks forward to seeing the projects that have received funding come to fruition.”
