Growing up in Ballarat, Daniel always admired the strength and passion regional families have for their communities, and after spending an extended period in Melbourne, Daniel and his partner relocated to the Gannawarra Shire in 2021. Their aim was to support the expansion of his family's agricultural business, but have since made the area home, moving to Kerang.
A passionate outdoor enthusiast, Daniel values the Gannawarra's waters, landscapes, and cultural history that make this area unique. He is particularly focussed on fostering opportunities that encourage younger generations to stay and settle in the region, ensuring farm businesses can continue to thrive, our community services get stronger, our tourism industry expands and our lands are cared for.
Daniel's career has spanned a variety of engineering disciplines, providing a broad and unique skillset. Now working full-time at the family farm, Daniel’s hands-on involvement in the business and farming has deepened his understanding of the opportunities and challenges the agricultural sector faces. Thanks to this knowledge, Daniel is dedicated to supporting the Gannawarra’s small rural communities.
