Connect With Council coming to Koondrook

Koondrook and district residents will be able to engage directly with Gannawarra Shire Council leaders next month thanks to the next session of the Connect With Council program.

Councillors and senior staff will gather at the corner of Keene and Main streets, Koondrook, on Wednesday, 14 October between 11.30am and 1pm as part of the seventh session of this popular community engagement program.

“The Connect With Council program enables residents to provide Councillors and staff with an insight into local matters and learn more about how Council is supporting our communities,” Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.

“So far this year we’ve held sessions at Cohuna, Kerang, Lalbert, Macorna, Murrabit and Quambatook, and we look forward to what should be another successful day at Koondrook.

“Residents are encouraged to come down and meet with Councillors and staff to discuss the matters that affect them.”

The 2026 edition of the program will wrap up in November and December with sessions at Lake Charm and Leitchville. Details regarding dates, times and locations for these sessions will be promoted on Council’s website, Facebook page and Gannawarra News.
