Residents were encouraged between May 2023 and July 2023 to provide feedback regarding the Draft Gannawarra Urban Growth Strategy, which lists numerous strategic planning directions that support housing and employment growth within the Gannawarra Shire.
The Draft Gannawarra Urban Growth Strategy will help support the future rezoning of residential and industrial land in Cohuna, Kerang, the Kerang Lakes and Koondrook to cater for forecast population growth, as well as ensuring that there is a clear and defined planning process to encourage new residential and industrial development locally.
