Council sought feedback during August 2026 and September 2026 regarding planned amendments to the Gannawarra Planning Scheme, which sought to implement recommendations and findings of the Gannawarra Planning Scheme Review (2024).
The amendment also corrected obvious and technical errors, including mapping anomalies in the planning scheme.

Gannawarra Shire Council, as planning authority, prepared Amendment C48gann to the Gannawarra Planning Scheme.
The land affected by the Amendment was all land in the Gannawarra Shire.
The amendment implemented the recommendations of the Gannawarra Planning Scheme Review (2024). The amendment also corrected obvious and technical errors, including mapping anomalies.
