Livestock

The grazing and droving of livestock is prohibited on roads and road-related areas within the Gannawarra Shire.

If residents need to move livestock across or along roads, specific regulations must be followed. These include:

• Displaying proper signage.
• Ensuring you can control the livestock.
• Ensuring livestock is supervised at all times.
• The movement of livestock can only occur during daylight hours.
• Livestock are only on the road for the time it reasonably takes for them to be moved to their destination.
