Renowned children’s performers, The Listies are returning to Gannawarra next month as part of their 110% Ready tour.

The duo, who are regulars at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, will perform their latest show at the Kerang Memorial Hall on Wednesday, 18 June at 10am and 1pm.

“Matt and Rich, who make up The Listies, have performed for more than a decade, won major awards, appeared on ABC Kids shows The Listies Work for Peanuts and Art Blast, and have toured the world performing to children and adults alike,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.

“Matt and Rich were last in the Gannawarra as part of their Rolling On The Floor Laughing tour, and audiences are set for another entertaining hour with the duo.”

The Listies’ latest show, 110% Ready sees Matt and Rich attempt to do something no family in Australia has ever done before: Leave the house on time.

110% Ready is all about the joys of the average morning routine: Sleeping through the alarm, not having any milk, fishing dirty clothes out of the hamper, burning the toast, and then finding the front door is glued shut, the shower won’t switch off, and the house is filling with water,” Mr Rollinson said.

“This show is dedicated to anyone who has ever been in charge of someone who is impossible to get out the front door in the morning and Council is pleased to be able to bring this comedy show to Gannawarra to support our residents to come together for a good laugh!”

Tickets are $5 for adults, with admission free for children aged 0-16 years. For bookings, visit www.trybooking.com/DBNOL or phone Council on (03) 5450 9333.

The Listies’ 110% Ready performance is supported by House of Oz, Arts on Tour and Creative Australia with the Gannawarra shows funded by the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments under the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) as part of the Gannawarra Community Flood Recovery Program.
