STORY TIME WITH AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR ANNIE WHITE

Acclaimed author and illustrator Annie White, whose book ‘Clementine’s Bath’ recently featured on the popular children’s television show Play School, will be visiting the Sir John Gorton Library to be a special guest of Story Time!

Mayor Brian Gibson said that Annie will be reading two of her books and joining in with songs and activities.

“Having an author visit the library is an amazing opportunity to provide our youngest readers with inspiration and imagination,” says Mayor Brian Gibson.

Manager Library Services Kerri Sidorow is thrilled that Annie is visiting the library and looks forward to seeing the children interact with the well-known author.

“Annie is known for her ability to capture the innocence, the curiosity and the cleverness of children through her work, and we are so excited to be welcoming her to Gannawarra.”

Annie is also taking part in the Open Studio Art Trail during the ‘Big Cohuna Festival’ celebrations taking place from November 3 - 7.  This self-drive tour provides the opportunity to view works of some of Cohuna’s most talented and creative visual artists.
