Learn about space these school holidays

Families will be able to experience space-themed art and craft activities for children of all ages this April thanks to the Gannawarra Library Service’s school holiday program.

Seven events are planned for 8-17 April at the Cohuna Library and The Glasshouse, Kerang.

“The Gannawarra Library Service team does an amazing job in providing various activities for families to enjoy during the school holidays, and what is planned for the April school holidays is no exception,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.

Five events will be held at The Glasshouse, Kerang as part of the program:

  • Moon Painting, occurring on Wednesday, 8 April from 2.30pm.
  • A Space Hanger activity occurring on Friday, 10 April from 2.30pm.
  • The popular Build it With Bunnings program, occurring on Tuesday, 14 April from 10.30am.
  • Jumping Rockets, occurring on Wednesday, 15 April from 10.30am.
  • Living in Space craft activity, occurring on Friday, 17 April from 10.30am.

Meanwhile, the Cohuna Library will host two sessions as part of the program:

  • The popular Build it With Bunnings program, occurring on Friday, 10 April from 10.30am.
  • Jumping Rockets, occurring on Wednesday, 15 April from 2.30pm.

Bookings for all activities are essential, with all children participating to be accompanied by an adult.
