Kerang-Leitchville Road improvements completed

Motorists are benefiting from recently completed improvements to Kerang-Leitchville Road.

Completed as part of Council’s annual capital works program, improvements have occurred at two sites along the road between Hebb Road at Kerang East and Reaper Lane, Macorna North.

“Council thanks residents and motorists for their patience as these works occurred, which have been completed in time for Christmas,” Gannawarra Shire Council’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Wade Williams said.

“Kerang-Leitchville Road is a major Council-managed arterial road for residents living in the east of the municipality and is used frequently by motorists travelling between Echuca and Kerang.”

As part of the improvements, a culvert located along this section of road was replaced, with the road surface rehabilitated.

“These improvements will provide road users with a safer, smoother driving experience,” Mr Williams said.
