JOIN THE KAZOOS FOR DRESS UP BOX FUN
MEDIA RELEASE

The Kerang Memorial Hall will host a morning of dress-up fun this April when The Kazoos bring their show, Dress Up Box to the Gannawarra.

This family-friendly comedy, occurring on Sunday, 10 April from 11am, will see children invited on-stage to join Tulip and Professor Silly from The Kazoos to select items from a dress-up box. What they choose will direct where the show goes next!

“Presented by Creative Gannawarra, Dress Up Box is the perfect first-time theatre experience for children between 1-7 years,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.

Dress Up Box is also a fun way to address some important topics and inspire young audience members to continue to learn through their own play.”

A kazoo workshop will follow the show, with each  child attending to receive a kazoo upon entry.

“Children will love this fun and interactive workshop that includes a history of the kazoo, a lesson focusing on technique, an exploration of sounds, tempo, melody and finishes with a kazoo choir,” Mr O’Reilly said.

Tickets for Dress Up Box are $15 for families and $5 per person. Children aged three years and under can enter for free.
