Cohuna and district families can look forward to the return of the Gannawarra Library Service’s popular Story Time program, which will recommence this week.

Designed for children aged 0-6 years and their families, free weekly sessions will occur at the Cohuna Library branch at 10.30am Thursdays from 2 May, and will continue during each school term.

“Our dedicated Gannawarra Library Service staff do an amazing job in developing a lifetime love of reading, with the Story Time program key to this relationship,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.

The Gannawarra Library Service sought feedback from families regarding the popular program earlier this year, which has helped determine the timing of sessions and activities.

“This feedback was valuable in helping what is already a popular program grow, with participants able to enjoy a morning of songs, stories and more,” Mr Rollinson said.

Sessions are also held at Kerang’s Sir John Gorton Library on Wednesdays at 10.30am.
