Time is running out for community groups and organisations seeking funding to support projects, programs, events and activities via Gannawarra Shire Council’s 2025 Community Grants Program.
Applications for this popular program, which have been open since the start of the month, will close at midnight Thursday, 29 May.
“Thank you to the numerous community groups that have already completed an application or contacted Council’s Grants team about this popular program,” Mayor Garner Smith said.
“For many years, community groups that support the Gannawarra’s residents have benefited from Council’s Community Grants Program, which provides funding to local events, facility improvements and projects that foster social connections.
“Successful projects need to meet the Essential Criteria, align with the community vision outlined in the Growing Gannawarra – 2021-2025 Council Plan and must be delivered within 12 months of receiving the funding.”
As part of the program, community groups will be able to apply for up to $5,000 to support projects, programs, events and activities.
