Renowned Australian author, Darry Fraser returns to the Gannawarra to promote her new book, The Good Woman of Renmark.

In what will be her third visit to the Gannawarra since early 2017, Ms Fraser will speak about The Good Woman of Renmark during an event at Kerang’s Sir John Gorton Library on Thursday, 5 December at 7pm.

Set in 1895 in the South Australian river town of Renmark, The Good Woman of Renmark focuses on Maggie O’Rourke in a story that combines adventure, romance and history in a thrilling journey through the bush and the mighty Murray River.

A Kangaroo Island resident, Darry’s childhood spent growing up around the Murray River is a major influence in her writing, with The Good Woman of Renmark the third book of her publishing career that is based around this iconic waterway.

Light refreshments will be provided.
