Gannawarra Goes Orange campaign launch
Cohuna will host the launch of the 2019 Gannawarra Goes Orange campaign, which calls on residents to call out the drivers of family violence and violence against women.
Now in this third year, the campaign coincides with Respect Victoria's Respect Women: Call It Out campaign runs as part of the Victoria-wide 16 Days of Activism.
Community leaders and residents will pledge to call out any form of violence against women, with festivities to end with a morning tea.
The Gannawarra Goes Orange campaign is a partnership between Council, Northern District Community Health, Kerang District Health, Cohuna District Hospital, Mallee District Aboriginal Service, Victoria Police, Mallee Family Care and the Southern Mallee Primary Care Partnership.
