Genealogy

Please note: From 25 February 2025, access to the Genealogy Room and the collection housed within will be unavailable due construction of The Glasshouse @ The Gannawarra.

A genealogy collection is housed in the Genealogy Room at the Sir John Gorton Library, Kerang. This collection contains:

• Kerang Newspapers on Microfilm
• Australian genealogy resources
• Local and family history resources

In-house access is also provided to ancestry.com

Cemeteries in the Gannawarra Shire can be accessed via Find a Grave

Historical Valuation Records can be accessed via the Gannawarra Library Service Catalogue

Research support can be arranged through the Kerang & District Family History Group website. 

Exhibition Space - Kerang
