TEMPORARY MEASURES IN RESPONSE TO CODIV-19
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gannawarra Shire Council is taking a number of actions to reduce the risk to our community.
In line with this, all Gannawarra Library Service branches are currently closed until further notice.
Our priority, as always, is the health and wellbeing of our community, which is why we have made this decision.
Library service changes
We are making some temporary changes to loan periods and limits to support the community during this period
- Loan periods have been extended from 4 weeks to 8 weeks
- The limit on the number of items you can borrow is 30 items
- There may be longer wait times for reserved items, given these changes to loan periods
- Please note that some items from the Swift network of library services may not be available for reservation
Public Computers and printing
- At this stage public computers and printing kiosks are unavailable until further notice
Please help us reduce the risk of COVID-19 by:
- Hanging on to your books if you’re sick rather than coming to the library
- Renewing your loans online, by phone or via the Bookmyne app
- Returning your books via the after-hours chutes
Please do not visit your library if you:
- Feel unwell
- Have returned from overseas in the last 14 days
- Have been in contact with a known positive case of COVID-19, or a person who is under quarantine or self-isolation awaiting confirmation testing in the last 14 days
- Have been confirmed as having COVID-19
