Renowned character and stand-up comedian, Damian Callinan, of Spicks and Specks fame will be performing in Kerang on Saturday August 25, 2018.
The show, Swing Man, forms part of the Gannawarra Shire Council’s 2018 performance calendar and is set to be an action packed evening of dance.
To present the show in Kerang, Gannawarra Shire Council has partnered with the Loddon Mallee Cycling Club.
Loddon Mallee Cycling Club representative Angela Hird said the show will be lively and full of fun and excitement.
“We have previewed this show and laughed a lot,” said Mrs Hird.
“If you want to get away for a night and forget your worries, this show will give you a great night out and help raise money for Kerang District Health.”
After years of avoiding partner dancing and cutting up dance floors on his own, Damian Callinan discovers that the only cure is to learn how to Swing Dance.
‘Lindy Hop’ on down to watch the three-time Barry nominee ‘Shag’ his way through his ‘Boogie Woogie’ midlife crisis!
“It is bound to be a great night with lots of laughs watching someone else dancing through life,” said Mrs Hird.
There's a FREE 1 hour beginners Swing Dance class before the show. Participants will learn the finale dance and if they feel confident, will have the opportunity to dance on stage with Damian!
Places in the beginner’s Swing Dance workshop can be booked as part of the ticket purchase process but get in early because numbers are limited.
Swing Man is showing 7.30pm Saturday August 25, 2018 at the Kerang Memorial Hall.
Tickets $30, Concession $25 available via www.trybooking.com/TKSB
