Community Grants awarded

Gannawarra Shire Council has awarded $27,149 to community organisations through the first round of the 2016/17 Community Grants Program.

CEO Eric Braslis said once again Council had seen a great response from community groups across the Shire, with 16 applications for funding received this round.

“The projects awarded funding from Council this round have strong linkages with Council’s overall objectives of supporting key community initiatives,” Mr Braslis said.

“The Community Grants Program has been running since 2014 and we encourage all community organisations to continue to apply for funding in the future, with support from Councils staff.”
