Around 70 people enjoyed an evening of laughs on Friday, 29 July when The Listies brought their hilarious Rolling On The Floor Laughing show to Cohuna.

Organised by Creative Gannawarra and supported by Regional Arts Victoria and Creative Victoria, Rolling On The Floor Laughing focused on the most terrifyingly tortuous family situation of all: Bed time!

“It may have taken more than two years to get Matt and Rich from The Listies to finally visit the Gannawarra thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was worth the effort,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.

“Audience members enjoyed the one-hour interactive performance, which The Listies are renowned for globally.”

Held at the Cohuna Memorial Hall, highlights included toilet paper cannons, a real life Cowasaurus, lullabies of doom, detachable legs and a panoply of puns.

“Council staff who assisted with organising the night received plenty of positive feedback, which is a credit to Matt and Rich’s talents,” Mr O’Reilly said.

Creative Gannawarra’s next performance is Mama Kin Spender’s Sound of Your Town, occurring at the Kerang Memorial Hall on Friday, 19 August 2022.

Featuring ARIA-nominated performer, Mama Kin and producer Dingo Spender, Sound of Your Town will unearth and renew the Gannawarra’s passion for music and connectivity through community and voice.
