Events will be held throughout the Gannawarra this October thanks to the 2022 Victorian Seniors Festival.

The festival, which celebrates its 40th year in 2022, focuses on providing fun and good times for Victorians aged 60 years and older.

“It is great that the Victorian Seniors Festival is returning for the first time locally since 2019,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.

“This year’s program offers something for all interests, including musical performances, author talks and movies.”

  • An Author Talk session with crime writer, Robert Gott at Kerang’s Sir John Gorton Library on Thursday, 13 October from 10.30am;
  • A Carers Week luncheon on Monday, 17 October at the Kerang Senior Citizens Centre, starting at 12 noon; and
  • Movie sessions every Wednesday from 1pm at Kerang’s Sir John Gorton Library.
