With more than 1,000 rivers and 36,000 kilometres of coastline, it is little wonder Australia is abounds with stories of people who have lived and worked on the water.

Remarkable - Stories of Australians and their boats presents some of these stories, highlighting courage, resilience and everyday life on the water.

Remarkable - Stories of Australians and their boats is supported by the Australian Government's Visions of Australia initiative, the Australian National Maritime Museum and the Australian Maritime Museums Council.
