International Men's Day 2023
Held annually on 19 November, International Men's Day aims to create a safe environment to support positive conversations around men, manhood, masculinity, positive role modelling and men’s health issues.
Thanks to funding from the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments under the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) as part of the Gannawarra Community Flood Recovery Program, local events are occurring that promote International Mens Day's key messages.
Kerang District Health Men’s Shed is celebrating International Men’s Day with a barbecue lunch at the Kerang Museum on Wednesday, 22 November at 12 noon.
The Quambatook Community Resource Centre has arranged a number of events for the Quambatook Men’s Shed to celebrate International Men’s Day. A day trip to three Central Victorian Men’s Sheds is planned, along with an Open Day and Christmas Party.
The Cohuna Men’s Shed is hosting an Open Day on Wednesday, 22 November to celebrate International Men’s Day with a barbecue lunch and are inviting members and visitors to join them.
The Murrabit Men’s Shed will celebrate International Men’s Day on Sunday, 26 November. Visitors can drop in for a Cuppa and Catch-up between 3pm-4pm.
