Gannawarra Library Service author talk - Sofie Laguna

The Gannawarra Library Service’s popular author talks program will resume in May 2021, headlined by the visit from Miles Franklin Literacy Award winning author, Sofie Laguna.

The author of The Eye of the Sheep and One Foot Wrong, Sofie will talk about her career and her new book, Infinite Splendours.

 Sofie's journey as an author began as a children’s writer and has expanded to the adult fiction market, with her awarding of the Miles Franklin Literacy Award in 2015 putting Sofie in the same company as renowned Australian authors Thea Astley, Peter Carey, Tim Winton and Thomas Keneally.

Booking to attend this free event is essential, which can be done by phoning (03) 5452 1546.

Those attending will be required to adhere to the various COVIDsafe measures in place. These include providing contact details upon arrival and socially distancing.
