Australia Day 2021

Residents and visitors are encouraged to celebrate Australia Day, with celebrations planned throughout the Gannawarra on Tuesday, 26 January.

Community groups and organisations have planned five gatherings on the day, ranging from community breakfasts to dinners.

Events will be held at the following locations:

  • Barham/Koondrook - Riverside Park, Barham (7am)
  • Cohuna - Garden Park (8am)
  • Kerang - Atkinson Park (7.30am)
  • Leitchville - Leitchville Sporting Complex (6.30pm)
  • Murrabit - Murrabit Market Lions Shelter (8am)

 All celebrations will feature a flag raising ceremony, a guest speaker and recognition of Gannawarra Shire Council’s Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year.
