TAC L2P Program
NOTE: Due to State and Federal government measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, the TAC L2P Program is postponed until further notice.
The TAC L2P Program assists disadvantaged Victorian learner drivers aged 16 to 21 with no access to a supervising driver or vehicle to gain the 120 hours driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence.
The TAC L2P Program is funded by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), managed by the Department of Transport (DoT), supported by the Victorian Government and coordinated by Gannawarra Shire Council.
Learners participating in the program have access to up to seven free driving lessons throughout the program with a professional instructor.
To join the L2P program, you need to be:
- Between 16 and 20 years
- A current learner’s permit holder
- Without access to either a vehicle, supervising driver, or both
Learner drivers can refer themselves to the Gannawarra Shire Program or be referred by parents, schools, community agencies or other organisations.
