TAC L2P Program

Funded by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and managed by the Department of Transport (DoT),the L2P Program assists disadvantaged Victorian learner drivers aged 16 to 21 with no access to a supervising driver or vehicle to gain the 120 hours driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence.

As of 1 July 2023, the Murray Mallee Local Learning and Employment Network will oversee this program in the Gannawarra Shire after Council announced earlier in the year it would not be extending its contract to operate the program.

MMLLEN is looking for enthusiastic people who can commit up to two hours a week to help a young learner complete 120 hours of driving.

Volunteers will be provided with training in the latest road safety practices before being matched with a learner driver.
