I am a women who is physically active and do between 4-6 exercise classes a week. I move my body not only for my physical health but for my mental health as well.
My body has been through so much in the past including Endometritis, IVF Cycles, 6 months chemo and I have beaten cancer at age 33. Although I have had struggles, I have achieved so many milestones and challenges that I set for myself which include, Relay for life, Rraising money for cancer council, Colour Runs, Bridge 2 Bridges, Parkruns, Swan Hill tri (10km walk), March with Me 50km – 2017 and 2018 raising money for youth mental health, Stadium Stomp – 2017 and 2018, Eureka Skydeck 88 levels – 2017, Climbed Mt Coolum, Mt Ninderry, Mt Ngungun ,Tabletop Mountain and Sydney Harbour Bridge. I
have a bucket list of things I want to do which include climbing Uluru in 2019 and Great Wall of China in 2020. I do these things to mainly prove to myself I can do it, but also if I can do it anyone can.
I wish people didn't judge on a person's size but that's what happens and I have experienced it. I have had people say “oh that's very hard you know (that walk, climb, class).” Which just makes me more determined to prove I can! And while I do it I may puff and pant, be slower than any other person and nearly die, but at the end I can say “I did it!” and I love that feeling.
