If you are holding an event in the Gannawarra Shire and liquor will be consumed, you are required to comply with all requirements of the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation. You may require a Consumption of Liquor permit from Council for events held at municipal reserves in the shire. Go to our Forms page for an application form.
There are many areas in the Municipal District which have been declared alcohol-free without a permit. For maps of the alcohol-free areas refer to Part 12, Schedule 2 of the Council Local Laws .
All municipal reserves within the Municipal District of Gannawarra Shire have been declared alcohol-free between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. If your event commences prior to 10:00 pm you will require a permit from Council. Go to our Forms Page to find the application form.

The area outside the Hall is an alcohol-free zone. A permit is required for consumption of alcohol in this area.
