Library Service

The Gannawarra Library Service consists of branches at Kerang, Cohuna, Leitchville and Quambatook and is the smallest public library service in the state of Victoria.

The headquarters are in Kerang, which is known as the Sir John Gorton Library and was officially opened on 11 September 2003. The library service employs three full-time staff, with four part-time staff and a library page.

 

Gannawarra Library Service Membership

The library service has a total membership of 4,003 patrons within the Gannawarra Shire (as of 4/6/2011), which includes:

  • 2,719 at Kerang
  • 1,059 at Cohuna
  • 164 at Leitchville
  • 61 at Quambatook
