Does your "not for profit" community organisation need a grant to support an exciting project, program or event?
The Gannawarra Shire Council advises that applications for the current round of Annual Community Grants are now CLOSED.
A reminder to groups who were successful in obtaining funding in the 2011/12 Annual Community Grants round that projects must have been completed prior to 30 June 2012. Finalisation report must be submitted to Council on completion of your project. A template for the finalisation report is available below.
The Gannawarra Shire Council through its Small Community Grants Program aims to provide funds for community groups and organisations who require financial assistance or resources for projects or activities that have genuinely arisen at short notice and fall outside of the time frame of Council’s Annual Community Grants Program.
The purpose of these grants is to provide financial assistance for impromptu opportunities for which the applicant has no immediate budget provision and contributes to the development, betterment and well being of the citizens of Gannawarra Shire Council and/or the enhancement of their local environment.
Please be sure to read the Gannawarra Community Grants Guidelines prior to filling out the application form.
The Small Community Grants program is open all year round for applications.
