Gannawarra Shire Children's Centre 

The Gannawarra Shire Children's Centre is a non-profit childcare service operated by Gannawarra Shire Council for children aged six weeks to six years old. The Centre is licensed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development as a 43 place long day care centre.

Staff at the Gannawarra Shire Children’s centre aim to provide a whole learning environment, where children are free to observe, question, experiment and explore.

The Centre is located at 2 Murray Street Kerang within the Children's Precinct along with Maternal Child Health Services, Pre-school, toy library and a visiting service from Noahs Ark Inclusion Support and Early Intervention Services.

The centre is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday for 50 weeks a year, only closing for two weeks over the Christmas period.

Family Day Care

Gannawarra Shire Family Day Care Educators provide quality childcare in small groups, in comfortable, safe, home environments. The Gannawarra Shire Children’s Service Team is committed to offering quality home based child care to meet the needs of families within the community.

The Family Day Care Scheme fosters the link between families and Educators and promotes the development of the whole child, giving opportunities for activities and experiences to enhance social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth.

Gannawarra Shire Family Day Care is accredited with the National Childcare Accreditation Council.
