Council Welcomes Solar Project Announcement

Gannawarra Shire Council has welcomed the announcement yesterday by the Minister for Energy and Resources the Hon. Michael O’Brien MP of the location of a planned demonstration solar plant in the Gannawarra Shire.

“Council has been working on encouraging and facilitating the development of solar energy options in the region for some time.  Therefore Council is very pleased to see significant progress toward achieving this objective,” Council Chief Executive Officer Rosanne Kava said.
