Contact Insurance Provider

Gannawarra Shire community members who have received a significant increase in building and contents insurance premiums are encouraged to respond by contacting their insurance provider.

The insurance provider can provide information on what has triggered the increase.

Options open to the community members may be negotiation of a lower premium based on provision of relevant information or to seek insurance quotes from a range of providers.

Information on planning schemes relevant to individual properties, including flood overlay information, is available on the Department of Planning and Community Development website http://planningschemes.dpcd.vic.gov.au or click on Planning Schemes Online at www.gannawarra.vic.gov.au/work/planning.
