| Gannawarra Shire Council invites applications for the Gannawarra Shire Council Scholarship, which is to be awarded to students currently undertaking tertiary studies in Civil Engineering, with potential for permanent employment at the end of 2010– 2012.
This invitation is also open to prospective students intending to commence tertiary studies in Civil Engineering in 2010, with potential for employment at the end of 2013.
The scholarship consists of $2,000 per annum and employment during the summer holiday period, and is designed to enable country students to experience the benefits of working for Local Government in rural Victoria.
Application packages are available from Council’s Customer Service Centres in Kerang and Cohuna or
by telephoning (03) 5450 9333.
Applications close: 5pm on Friday, 30 October 2009. It is anticipated that interviews will be held on
Monday, 9 November 2009.
