2008 Sport and Recreation Awards
The Go for your life 2008 Victorian Sport and Recreation Awards are now open with a total of $50,000 in cash prizes being awarded across 10 categories.

Nominating is a great way to acknowledge those individuals, organisations and clubs who have made a significant contribution to the sport and recreation sector in Victoria. Please consider any colleagues, community or family members you think are deserving of a nomination.

Nomination templates are downloadable from www.sport.vic.gov.au . Once filled out, simply email the nomination to the Awards Coordinator. Alternatively, a small number of Nomination CD's are available from Council's Risk Management and Recreation Coordinator, Lisa Clue, to distribute which contain information on the 10 award categories, instructions and advice on the nomination process, nomination templates for each category and an example nomination for guidance. Please contact Lisa on 5450 9333 if you would like one of these.

The closing date for nominations is Friday 22 August 2008.

For further information please visit www.sport.vic.gov.au .
