The Kerang library now has a new addition to their growing digital platform. An iMac computer, with an impressive collection of useful and creative applications, has been installed in the public access computer area.

Features of the new computer include Photos, iMovie, Garageband, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, FaceTime, iTunes and Maps.

One of the functions of the iMac, Mayor Brian Gibson has stated, is to enable young people in the region to contribute to the newly formed My Warra website.

“This computer can be used as a tool to support students who do not have access to an iMac at home, plus it is freely available to the community.”

“The iMac can be set apart from other PC’s because it is great for any photographers, video editors or multimedia enthusiasts in our community,” Mayor Gibson explains.

Users will be able to edit photos, make movies, compose music and more.

The iMac was fully funded by Council and will be a great resource for students and the wider community.
