GANNAWARRA LIBRARY SERVICE SEPTEMBER SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM

MEDIA RELEASE

To celebrate The Australian Ballet Dancing Story workshops in Cohuna, the Gannawarra Library Service have taken on the theme of magic, movement and storytelling these September holidays.

For children aged seven and up, there will be a fun Harry Potter string art activity that captures iconic images from the series. Younger children can delight in creating their own take-home fairy or monster to promote imagination and fun.

Bricks 4 Kidz, in conjunction with RuralAccess are bringing their ‘REMOTE CONTROL MANIA’ program to Gannawarra for children aged 6 and above to enjoy. “This exciting program gives children the opportunity to use fascinating and challenging LEGO® components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions or amusement park rides. They will then see their creations in motion using LEGO® wireless remote controls,” explains Manager of Libraries, Kerri Sidorow.

All of these activities are offered free of charge but bookings are essential. Please contact your local library branch for more details.
