Gannawarra Shire Council’s arts and cultural events program is recognised in a new publication.

Arts and Culture in Gannawarra – February-June 2019 promotes five key events occurring during the first half of the year, starting with the Quambatook Silo Cinema’s screening of The Merger on Saturday, February 9.

Other performances highlighted in the 12-page guide include Splash Test Dummies (Kerang, April 11), Rhythm & Voice (Kerang, May 3), Swansong (Cohuna, May 25) and The Sapphires (Quambatook, June 19).

“The guide provides details on each performance, how to book and supporters of these events that have helped bring these diverse attractions to the Gannawarra Shire,” Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said.

The guide also promotes special season tickets for those wanting to attend more than one event.

Discounts range from five per cent for those who book to attend two events to 12 per cent for The Lot, which provides entry to all five Council involved events in 2019.

Copies of the guide are available from Council’s Customer Service Centres in Cohuna and Kerang, your local library and neighbourhood houses located throughout the Shire.
