Gannawarra Shire Council has released dates for its Ordinary Council meetings scheduled for 2019.

Mayor Lorraine Learmonth advises that Ordinary Council meetings are open to the public and commence at 6.30pm in the Council Chambers, 49 Victoria Street, Kerang.

“Residents and interested persons are most welcome to attend monthly Council meetings,” said Mayor Learmonth.

“During Council meetings, Council considers and makes decisions on issues of public interest including but not limited to financial matters, planning, policies and projects. Community members are able to ask up to two questions of Council during question time.”

Dates for 2019 are scheduled as follows:

January Council Meeting - no meeting held
February Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 20
March Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 20
April Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 17
May Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 15
June Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 26
July Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 17
August Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 21
September Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 18
October Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 16
November Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 20
December Ordinary Council Meeting - Wednesday 18

“Any changes to the date, time or location of meetings will be advertised to the community,” added Mayor Learmonth.
